Had a 2003 F-150 die on me at a red light in Denver last Tuesday

Turns out the fuel pump relay was cooked, but I spent two hours chasing electrical gremlins before I checked the cheap stuff. Anybody got a go-to trick for diagnosing no-starts faster on these older Fords?

Turns out the fuel pump relay was cooked" did you test it with a test light or just swap it blind?

Buddy of mine had the same thing happen in his 04, @tessawebb. He sat for an hour before realizing he didn't even check the relay because he was sure it was the fuel pump itself. Always check the cheap relays first, they're the ones that fail.
