Vent: That 2006 Civic quarter panel repair from last week almost broke me.
Got a 2006 Civic in the shop with a smashed quarter panel... looked like a simple pull and fill job. Started pulling it out and the whole inner structure just crumbled like a soda can. Spent 8 hours just trying to get a solid base for the new metal. The owner kept calling every hour asking if it was done yet... I finally had to tell him it needed a full quarter panel replacement, which added $1200 to his bill. Has anyone else had a car just fall apart on them mid-repair like that?
