My detailer in Tampa swears the ceramic stuff makes water spots way worse if you don't dry it fast.

Yeah my buddy's car got wrecked by that exact thing.

Oh man that's a tough break. My buddy Tom had a newer Civic he washed every Sunday like clockwork. He used some off-brand ceramic spray from a big box store and left it to dry in direct sun. By the end of the week the hood had these awful hazy streaks that wouldn't buff out. Had to pay a detailer three hundred bucks to wet sand the whole thing.
