The paint rep told me to thin it more, I said no way, cost me a redo in Phoenix
Been spraying for 8 years and a PPG guy swore my clearcoat needed 10% extra thinner, but I figured he was just pushing product so I skipped it. Finished the fender, looked great for a day, then it orange-peeled like crazy and I had to strip and reshoot on my own dime. Has anyone else fought a rep's advice and paid the price, or are some of these guys actually onto something?

That thinner trick got me too, reps usually know their stuff.
