That cheap paintless dent repair kit I mocked actually worked
Ngl, I spent months telling customers to skip the $45 kits from the parts store and pay for real PDR. Then last Tuesday a hail dent on my own truck was driving me crazy and I figured why not. Followed the video exactly, warmed the panel to about 90 degrees with a heat gun, and popped a quarter-sized dent in 20 minutes. The glue puller felt flimsy but it grabbed solid and left zero marks. Is this thing good for serious collision work? No way, but for small dings on a daily driver it's hard to beat. Has anyone else found a home kit that surprised them?
