Look for the factory spot welds. If they're still clean and even, that panel probably hasn't been in a big wreck.

Good point from @jennifer_fisher. I mean, what about checking the door gaps too? If they're all even, that's another solid sign it's clean.

Gate gap check? Now that's some REAL dedication right there.
