Shoutout to the guy who taught me the nylon strap trick at a salvage yard in Phoenix
Was pulling a door panel off a wrecked F-150 last month and struggling with the clip. Old timer walks over, hands me a thin nylon strap, says "loop it behind the clip and yank straight, not sideways." Took me 30 seconds after fighting it for 10 minutes. Been using that trick on every trim piece since. Anyone else got a random tip from a stranger that stuck with you?

Man I still break half the clips I try to pull. If someone handed me a nylon strap I'd probably just end up wrapped in it like a burrito. But good on that guy for saving you from the cuss fest.
