Just crossed 1,000 hours of paint work, here's what nobody warned me about
Hit my 1,000th hour spraying in my shop near Dayton last week, and I kept a log the whole time. Turns out I've burned through 214 boxes of masking tape and about 30 gallons of clear coat, which I did not see coming when I started. The real shocker was how many resprays I did on my own panels, probably 40 of those hours were fixing my own mistakes with dust or runs. Anyone else track their hours or materials like this, or am I just weird about numbers?
