Insurance adjuster told me to use used parts on a 2022 truck, I laughed out loud

Last Tuesday in Phoenix this guy showed up with his certified appraiser checklist and tried to justify a door skin from a salvage yard on a truck that still had the new car smell, so has anyone else just started handing over your own aftermarket part list before they even finish talking?

Man, that takes me back to when my buddy tried to fight a claim over a cracked taillight and the guy offered him a literal rainbow of mismatched bumper colors like it was some kind of buffet! He ended up just standing there holding his own spreadsheet of OEM prices, and the adjuster finally caved after like 20 minutes of awkward silence.
