Man that's infuriating. I always pack a super bright white flashlight for exactly this reason. If someone's being careless with a laser, you hit them with the full beam and ask them politely but firmly to cut it out. It works every time.

Yikes, that sounds like a great way to start a real fight. Blinding someone back just escalates things. You could easily hit a pilot or another innocent person with that beam, turning you into the problem. It's better to just tell a staff member.
