Tried stacking a 135mm lens on extension tubes for moon shots
I put my old manual focus 135mm on about 50mm of extension tubes to get closer to the moon last month. The image came out way softer than I expected, tons of chromatic aberration I never saw before. Anyone else find that extension tubes expose lens flaws you never knew existed?

What brand of extension tubes are you using?

Are you talking about the cheap plastic ones from Amazon? Because I used those for a bit and they WORKED but the connection was SO loose I thought I was gonna lose a lens. I switched to the Kenko tubes and they are WAY better built, metal mount and everything. The electrical contacts are more reliable too, I had the cheap ones miss aperture data all the time. Just my two cents but if you can swing the extra money, the Kenko ones are worth it.
