One comment about my star colors wrecked my whole editing flow

A guy on r/astrophotography told me my nebula shots looked 'too pink' and after checking my histogram I realized I was crushing the teal channel every single time, so I switched to narrowband mapping and now my Orion shots from last month look completely different, has anyone else had to redo their palette after one critique?
