Honestly, the amount of people who think the Orion Nebula is a star is kind of wild
Tbh, I saw it again last night at the local star party and three different people asked which bright star it was. Has anyone else run into this a lot?

Guess they skipped the cloudy part in astronomy class.

Oh man, does it count if I was one of those people like five years ago? I pointed at it and called it a big star and my friend just gave me the most disappointed look. I felt so silly when they handed me the binoculars and it was just this huge fuzzy cloud. We all start somewhere, right?
