Guy at the star party said my Milky Way shots looked like soup, so I stopped stacking so many frames
He told me 140 stacked subs at 30 seconds each was washing out the dust lanes, and to try 40 subs instead. Turns out he was right, and now I want to know how many frames everyone else actually stacks for wide field shots?
