...but honestly I wonder how much of that is just the place selling you on a $300 filter when a cheap UHC one would do the same job. I've seen people get really deep into gear only to realize their suburban backyard still looks like a bright mess regardless of the filter. Not saying the guy was wrong, just that light pollution is a bigger problem than any single piece of glass can fix.
