Wasted $60 on a fancy meal prep subscription I cancelled after day three

I signed up for that Freshly delivery thing last month thinking it'd save me time and money... but the first box arrived all wilted and the portions were tiny. Each meal cost like $11 and I could've made the same thing for $3 at home. Ended up eating takeout that week anyway because I was too annoyed to cook their sad little containers. Anyone else fall for one of those meal kit traps and regret it?

Bro, I'm gonna be the one to say it but I actually love these things. I did HelloFresh for like 6 months straight and it saved my ass. I was spending way more on groceries that would rot in my fridge before I got around to cooking them. With the meal kit I had exactly what I needed and no waste. Yeah it's not the cheapest option but for someone who works late and hates grocery shopping it was totally worth it. I think your problem was just picking the wrong service honestly.
