Update: I stopped googling quick answers and started asking people directly 6 months ago in my local gaming group

I used to waste 20 minutes reading forum threads when a 2 minute chat with a friend who already knew the answer would have saved me time, and now I ask first before searching, has anyone else found this works better for certain topics?

Huh, never thought about it that way... makes you wonder what other shortcuts we're missing out on.
