TIL those 'miracle' fabric stain removers on Instagram are a total scam
I saw this ad for a spray that claimed to remove 20 year old red wine stains with zero effort. Bought a bottle for $35 including shipping. Tried it on a shirt my kid spilled grape juice on two days before. Nothing happened. Then I followed their 'soak overnight' instructions for a coffee stain on a white tablecloth. Still there in the morning. I even used it on fresh ketchup and it did less than my regular laundry detergent. Total waste of 35 bucks and two weeks of waiting for delivery. Has anyone found a stain remover that actually lives up to the hype or are we all just stuck with oxiclean?

That "soak overnight" part got me too. Did you try scrubbing it while it was soaking or just let it sit?

fr that "soak overnight" line got me too, it's basically admitting the stuff doesn't work on its own. oxiclean is the only thing that's ever actually saved my stained shirts, everything else is just expensive water.
