Three years ago I asked my grandpa about his old toolbox and got a whole different answer than I expected

Last week I was cleaning out my garage and found my grandpa's old Craftsman toolbox from the 1960s. He passed away about three years ago, and I never really thought to ask him about it while he was still around. But a month before he died, I sat down with him and asked what his favorite tool in that box was. I figured he'd say the hammer or the screwdriver set, but he pointed to this beat up adjustable wrench that looked like it had been through a war. He said "that thing got me out of more jams than any other tool I owned." It got me thinking about how we don't always value the simple stuff until later on. Has anyone else inherited something from a relative that turned out to have a story behind it?

Buddy got his dad's old fishing knife and found a hidden note inside the handle.

That note probably means something personal to his dad... crazy to find it after all these years. Could be a message, a memory, or even a secret he never got to share. Makes you wonder what other old stuff has hidden stories inside them.
