That guy at the bar who wouldn't take 'I don't know' for an answer
I was just trying to grab a beer after work last Tuesday at this dive near my moving yard in St. Louis, and this dude kept pressing me about what my 'five year plan' was like I owed him a business proposal. He literally said 'come on, you must have thought about this' after I tried to shrug it off three times. Why do some people act like you're broken if you don't have your whole life mapped out on a spreadsheet?

That guy sounds exhausting. Nobody owes a STRANGER at a bar their entire life story just because they asked. Some people are just out here trying to get through the week, not audition for a motivational speaker gig. The nerve of someone thinking you're defective for not having a neat little roadmap for the next half decade is just wild. Bet he also asks women when they're having kids at the grocery store.

True but nobody asks about kids at a bar, that's a weird stretch.
