My entire tech support career is built on that one trick. Maybe I should be the one selling the sixty dollar course. The real lesson is always in the comments, and it's usually free. Guess I just paid for a fancy reminder of what I already know. At least the course didn't tell me to check if the thing was plugged in. That's probably lesson two.
