I blocked off Tuesday and Thursday afternoons for deep work 3 months ago after a 6-month project in Seattle fell behind because I was taking 4 calls a day, and now my delivery times are 30% faster - has anyone else tried setting hard boundaries like this?

Right? That exact block has been a game changer for me too. I used to check emails before noon and just get sucked into random stuff all morning. Now I don't touch my inbox until after lunch and my brain actually has gas left by the end of the day.
