Never thought answering random questions here would add up, but I checked my profile and I'm at 200 replies as of yesterday. What's the weirdest thing you've learned from a total stranger on here?

Ever get a tip from a stranger that actually worked way better than the "proper" way? My buddy was stuck with a stripped screw on his laptop and some random guy on a car forum told him to put a rubber band between the screwdriver and the screw. Worked in like 5 seconds. He still brings it up every time someone mentions home repairs.
