Found out my grocery list method was backwards after 12 years
I used to write my shopping list grouped by aisle, you know, produce together, dairy together, all that. Looked neat and made sense on paper. But every single trip I'd circle back twice because I'd grab something from aisle 4 and remember a thing from aisle 9. Two weeks ago I flipped it, I just write items in the order they pop into my head, no sorting at all. Then I shop with the list and walk the store in that exact zigzag pattern, even if it means hitting frozen stuff first. Turns out my brain remembers things chronologically, not by category. The extra walking is worth not forgetting the damn cilantro for the third week in a row. Has anyone else tried the unsorted list trick or do you swear by sections still?

So you basically reinvented wandering around confused, but now with confidence and cilantro.
