Caught my spreadsheets lying 3 years after I built them

I put together a monster tracking sheet for our small shop back in 2021, formulas and all, and never double checked the math. Last month I ran a report for a supplier audit and noticed totals were off by about $4,800. Turned out one cell referenced the wrong column for 3 years straight, so every single monthly summary we saw was wrong. Nobody caught it because the numbers looked close enough. Has anyone else had a quiet error like that sitting in plain sight for ages...
