Am I the only one who sees people mixing up bleach and vinegar like it's no big deal?

I was at a friend's house last Saturday helping clean their bathroom, and they literally poured bleach into a spray bottle that still had vinegar in it. I grabbed it out of their hand just in time, explaining that combo makes toxic chlorine gas. It's scary how many people don't know basic chemical safety. My dental office drilled this into us during training, but it seems like regular folks never get the memo. Has anyone else had to stop someone from doing this?

My buddy Mike once mixed bleach and ammonia cleaning his cat's litter box and had to run outside gasping for air.

Funny you mention that @michaeladams, I did the same thing when I was trying to unclog a drain with random cleaners. My eyes were burning for an hour.
