Am I the only one who has a hard time asking for help on a small thing?
Last Tuesday I spent 45 minutes trying to figure out why my printer kept jamming on page 3, and a coworker fixed it in about 20 seconds by just pulling out a tiny scrap of paper I could not see. It felt silly to ask over something so small, but I keep wondering if I would have saved myself the trouble by just speaking up sooner. Is there something small you put off asking about that ended up being easy once someone else looked?
You said it felt silly to ask over something so small, but what made it feel silly exactly, the fact that it was a printer or that you thought you should already know how to fix it? And when you finally did ask, did your coworker seem annoyed or did they just help without a second thought?
