Small win: my client's talking head shots finally stopped looking orange in Tucson
Honestly I kept seeing skin tones go full carrot in every indoor shoot and blamed my camera at first. Turned out the cheap LED panels I bought at a shop on Speedway were rated 5600K but actually sitting way warmer, and a rep at the counter confirmed it when I brought one in. Dropped a Rosco 1/4 CTB gel on them and shot a test at the Tucson job, and the skin tones finally looked normal on the monitor. Has anyone else checked their bargain panels with a color meter, or am I just late to this?
