Rant: blew $600 on a Phoenix studio tour that sold me nothing
Booked a full day at a Mesa studio through their website, paid $600 upfront for the 'production walkthrough' package. Turned out it was just an hour of them showing me their gear and 5 hours of waiting while they filmed a real client. Walked away with zero practical advice on budgeting a shoot in the valley heat, and they kept my deposit for a date I canceled after seeing the list. Has anyone else gotten burned by these paid studio consultations instead of just calling a local crew for a beer?
