Found a hidden gem filming in Sedona last weekend
I was scouting locations near Cathedral Rock and noticed the light hitting the red rocks around 5pm gave this insane warm glow I never caught on camera before. Has anyone else found a specific time of day that makes Verde Valley pop on video?

Man that golden hour glow by Cathedral Rock is something else. Caught a timelapse there around 4:30 last fall and the way the shadows creep up the cliffs turned out way better than I expected.

That's funny you mention timelapses, last year I tried catching the sunrise at Piestewa Peak but my phone died halfway through and I just sat there watching the colors change for twenty minutes, no camera rolling at all. Sometimes the unplanned moments turn out better because you're not fussing with settings and just soaking it in. I bet your Cathedral Rock video has that same kind of raw feeling to it.
