Am I the only one who thinks the whole "ancient aliens" stuff ruins real archaeology?

I tried watching that show on the Pyramids last night and got so mad at how they ignore actual evidence like the quarry marks and worker villages - has anybody else found people who actually believe that junk and can't be talked out of it?

lol my buddy was deep into that stuff for ages. finally got him to check out a legit documentary about the quarry sites and he slowly started coming around. just gotta nudge em towards real evidence instead of debating.

Hold up though, those quarry documentaries are awesome but some of them get a few details wrong about the tool marks and how the blocks were actually cut. I've seen a couple that say the Egyptians used iron tools way before they were available, which just muddies the waters. Gotta make sure the evidence you're showing is solid so they don't latch onto one small mistake and write off the whole thing.
