Just realized I've climbed over 1,000 trees in the past five years, which feels wild.
It hit me when I was logging a simple removal yesterday, and it made me think about how much of our work is literally built on that repeated, physical connection to the tree.

My log book is basically a tree's guestbook.

A thousand trees is a serious number of reps. My back just twitched in sympathy reading that. Makes my own log book look pretty sad by comparison. Guess I've been more of a casual acquaintance to the trees in my area.
