Just read that a mature oak tree can transpire over 40,000 gallons of water a year. Found that in an old forestry textbook.

If you think about it, 40,000 gallons is about the same as a typical 20x40 foot swimming pool. The crazy part is that water gets pulled up through the tree's tiny roots and evaporates right out of the leaves, and it does that every single year without fail.

That's like a whole swimming pool, right?

Yeah that's pool territory, you gotta get a pro to look at it before it gets worse.
