The Tuesday last month where I fixed three dryers in a row before noon
I mean, it was just one of those weird days where every call was a simple belt or idler pulley swap on older Whirlpool models, and by 11 AM I was already done and sitting in my truck eating a sandwich, has anyone else had a day where nothing went sideways?

Did you check the drum rollers while you were in there too? I've had plenty of days where one easy fix turned into another when those start squeaking a week later. Also grabbing a cheap belt tensioner tool from the parts house saves a ton of hassle on those older Whirlpools. Sounds like a solid morning on the job for sure.

Man @theamason you're speaking my language lol. Nothing worse than thinking you're done and hearing that squeak a week later, been there way too many times.

Thinking you're done and hearing that squeak" - man that hit home. Had an old Maytag once, thought I had it all fixed up. Squeak came back three days later. Turned out the idler pulley was just barely loose. Not even a full turn on the wrench fixed it. Drove me nuts for a week.
