That $150 ultrasonic cleaner I swore was a gimmick finally won me over
I bought this cheap ultrasonic cleaner off Amazon about 6 months ago for cleaning injectors and small parts. Honestly thought it was just a fancy toy that would collect dust. Then last week I threw in a filthy carburetor from a 20 year old dryer that had been sitting in my garage for months. Pulled it out after 15 minutes and the thing looked brand new. No scrubbing, no nasty solvents, just water and a drop of soap. Has anyone else found a tool they bought as a joke that actually works great?

Used to roll my eyes at these things, thought they were just overpriced jewelry cleaners for people who didn't know better. Then a buddy let me borrow his to clean a pair of fuel injectors I was about to throw away. Threw them in with some simple green and water, ten minutes later they looked like they just came out of the box. Ran them in my truck and the idle smoothed right out. Now I'm the guy telling everyone to buy one.
