Shoutout to the guy at the parts desk in Fort Wayne who saved me a whole afternoon
Had a dryer last week that would run fine but never heat up, so I pulled the whole thing apart looking for a bad element. I checked the thermal fuse, the thermostat, and even swapped the heating element itself, which ate up a solid 3 hours. Turned out it was just a burnt wire on the terminal block that I missed because I started at the back of the machine instead of ohming it out first. Guy at the counter asked if I tested voltage at the block before tearing it down and I had to admit I didn't. Anyone else got a go-to order of checks they stick to so you don't skip the easy stuff?
