Hit 1,200 fridge compressors repaired in 4 years last Tuesday
I was just going through my logs and saw the number 1,200 for compressor swaps on refrigerators since I started keeping track back in 2021. That's about 25 a month which sounds crazy when I think about it, but I never felt like I was doing that many. Does anyone else track their numbers and get surprised by the totals after a few years?

Logging gets real eye opening once you hit a few years of data.

So are we supposed to be impressed by the numbers or worried about how many fridges are dying? @dixon.rose I get that logging shows you patterns, but maybe it just confirms you're working on stuff that shouldn't be breaking that often. 1,200 compressors in four years means either the parts are garbage or the techs are rushing through repairs without fixing the real problem. I'd rather see a guy do 30 a year and make them last 10 years than 300 a year and have customers calling back in six months. Numbers don't tell you if the job was done right.
