Heard a guy at the hardware store in Tacoma say he never checks the thermal fuse on dryers
He was telling his friend it's a waste of time and to just replace the whole heating assembly. I've found that fuse is the fix maybe 40% of the time on no-heat calls, saving a ton of money. What's your take, do you always check it first or skip straight to the bigger part?

That lawyer comment is a bit off, but yeah, always check the fuse first.

Found a blown fuse in the basement panel last time that fixed it.
