Had a nightmare week of fridge repairs that just kept getting worse
Last Tuesday I got a call about a Samsung fridge not cooling on the upper section. Figured it was just the damper, showed up and found the evaporator was a solid block of ice. Took me 2 hours to defrost it, swapped the thermistor, and thought I was done. Next day same customer calls back, now the ice maker is dumping cubes everywhere. Went back and found a cracked water line inside the door panel that I missed the first time. Then on Thursday I had a GE side-by-side where the compressor was cycling like crazy, ended up being a bad start relay for the third time this year. By Friday I was so tired I dropped my multimeter off a counter and it shattered the screen. Has anyone else had a week where one fridge leads to three more problems in a row?

Man that is a brutal string of bad luck right there. Fridge jobs are the worst when they cascade like that because you think you've got it solved and then something else pops up that you completely missed. Dropping the multimeter just tops it off in the worst way, I feel that pain deep down. I've had weeks where the first call goes sideways and then every single job after that has its own hidden nightmare waiting for you. It makes you wonder if the universe is just testing your patience sometimes, you know? Hang in there, hopefully next week treats you better because this one sounds like it took everything it could from you.
