Factory coils vs aftermarket on a GE fridge, lesson learned
Swapped a condenser fan motor on a GE GSS25 last week with a cheap knockoff from Amazon, unit ran fine for 2 days then seized up and tripped the breaker. Replaced it with the OEM part for $68 and it's been quiet as hell since. Anyone else stopped gambling on off-brand parts after getting burned once too?
