Customer told me my $85 diagnostic fee was a scam, so I showed him the 4 screws
He called me out to a house in Beaverton after his dryer quit, then got mad when I said the fee covers finding the problem, not just the fix. I popped the back panel, pointed at the thermal fuse and the burnt wire nut, and asked if he wanted the $12 part or the guess. What do you all say when a customer pushes back on the trip charge?
