Callout post: The guy who told me to clean dryer ducts with a leaf blower was right

Last week a commenter on here said to use a leaf blower from the outside to clear out lint from the dryer vent. I figured it would just blow lint back inside or something. But I tried it on a 40 foot run in a rental I was fixing up and it shot out a wad of lint the size of a football. Saved me two hours of fighting with a brush kit. Anyone else tried this trick and had it work out?

Honestly, I was a skeptic too but that football-sized wad changed my mind fast.

Seeing is believing with that thing. The way it just slides out and keeps its shape, you know it's not some cheap store brand. And the solid mass in the middle, not all crumbly or dry like most. You can tell right away it's been handled right the whole way through. Makes you wonder what else they're doing different that people just haven't seen yet.
