Vent: I thought the hype around 'Odd Taxi' was just noise, but I was totally off
For months, I kept seeing people talk about this show with animal characters and a taxi driver. I figured it was just another quirky slice of life thing. I finally watched the first three episodes last week, and the dialogue is so sharp and the mystery just pulls you in. The way the conversations in the cab connect everything is way smarter than I gave it credit for. Has anyone else had a show they wrote off that completely surprised them?

My local diner changed their pie recipe last month. People are still talking about it. Seems like nothing is safe from a surprise these days.
