Showerthought: Filler episodes are low-key essential

I mean, idk, maybe it's just me but I think filler arcs give shows room to breathe. Like in Bleach, those extra bits helped me care more about side characters before big fights. Most chat rooms I'm in tell new viewers to skip them, which feels wrong. They add layers to the world that the main plot sometimes rushes past.

Funny how other people noticing makes you stick with it. Like if your coworker points out you always take the stairs now, suddenly you can't go back to the elevator without feeling lazy. Or your friend sees you reading every night and asks for book tips. That outside view locks the habit in place. What's something people have noticed you doing consistently lately?
