I finally gave in and watched that overly hyped anime everyone was screaming about

I thought Attack on Titan was just another edgy action show with too much screaming, but after 3 episodes the world-building hooked me hard. Has anyone else been dead wrong about a series they swore they'd never like?

Read a review that said the first season was just setup. Kept watching. Worth it.

Nah the payoff is real, second half of season one slaps.
