Dubbed or subbed... I switched sides last month after 5 years of dubs
I always swore by dubs because I multitask while watching, but I gave 'Attack on Titan' subbed a try last week and the voice acting hit way harder. Now I'm rewatching everything I've seen and noticing so many emotional beats I missed. Has anyone else found the original audio changes the whole vibe of a show?

Wait till you hear a bad dub that changes entire character personalities!

Oh, you better believe it. That's the worst kind of dubbing, when they completely rewrite a character just to fit some local market idea. I remember watching an old anime where the main tough guy was turned into a whiny comedian, and it just ruined the whole show for me.
