Buddy at the comic shop told me to watch Orb instead of the new seasonal stuff

He kept saying it was the sleeper hit of the season and to give it a few episodes. I finally sat down and watched the first three last night, and yeah, he was right. The pacing is totally different from the flashy action shows I usually grab. Anybody else have a friend who always points you toward the quiet shows that end up being way better?

Press pause before bingeing that next big shonen and let Orb breathe, it earns its slow burn with some genuinely heartbreaking payoff later on. That friend knows the shows that make you feel smarter for watching them.

Bro i was the same way honestly. I used to scroll straight past anything that wasn't all fighting and explosions. But @bailey.xena is 100% right, you gotta let Orb breathe. My buddy nagged me for weeks before i finally gave in and now i feel dumb for sleeping on it. The slow parts arent filler theyre just building up to hit you harder later. Three episodes in the pacing clicked and i knew he was onto something. Total game changer for how i pick shows now.
