Back in 2015, I saw a fight break out at a con panel about 'subs vs dubs'
I mean, it was at Anime Expo in LA, and this guy just started yelling about how reading subtitles was the only real way to watch. It got so heated security had to step in. Idk, it made me realize how intense those old forum debates used to be. Now, maybe it's just me, but I feel like most people just watch what they want without making a big deal about it. Has anyone else noticed the online talk getting way less angry about that stuff?

Remember when people would get mad about EVERYTHING online? Feels like we all just got tired of fighting over stuff that doesn't matter.
