Serious question, has anyone else had issues with the new firmware update for the SecureLink 5000 panels?

My old boss told me to always wait at least a month before updating, and after my first install with the new 2.1.7 firmware bricked a panel in a customer's house in Tempe last Tuesday, I wish I'd listened.

Joke all you want about timing, but that two versus three day argument is exactly why I keep a printed calendar taped to my monitor.
