Rant: My old boss told me wireless sensors were fine for metal buildings

He said just stick them on with extra tape and they'd work. Took me 3 service calls to a warehouse in Reno to finally rip them all out and hardwire everything. Has anyone else dealt with a customer who insisted their buddy's advice was better than yours?

Extra tape on a metal building... that's almost funny if it wasn't so painful. I had one guy swear magnets would hold his conduit clips in place... took a whole day to clean up that mess. Three service calls to Reno sounds like a nightmare, bet that warehouse was an oven in the summer too.

Haha magnets for conduit clips, that's a new one. Reminds me of the guy who tried to fix a leaking pipe with duct tape and called it a "temporary solution" for six months until the ceiling caved in.
